Too slow, as usual. Waiting too long to see which way the wind is blowing. But here’s their Katrina relief plan (which they did float a couple of days ago) that will form the basis for legislation expected to be introduced as soon as Thursday. And Harry Reid has sent a letter to the Senate Committee on government oversight raising significant concerns about what happened. The ranking Dem on that committee is Liebertwat, so don’t I’m not getting my hopes up.
(Sorry for the late start these last couple of days. I’m, uh, supposed to be on vacation this week. Thanks to Paul and D. and Tart for keeping things moving along ever so nicely, and a big thanks to Mr. Shakes for being more understanding than I can really describe about my passion for this.)
