On NBC's Meet the Press today, Cheney advisor Mary Matalin claimed that the public should be "presuming what we all know, that [Cheney] doesn’t drink." I don't think we should presume that about anyone who has already admitted to drinking before the hunting accident in question. But I especially don't think we should simply "presume that [Cheney] doesn't drink" when what we do know is that Cheney has been convicted twice of drinking and driving.Memmmmmorieeeeeeeeees…may be beautiful and yet…things too painful to rememmmberrrrrr, we simply choose to forget…
