The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation has donated $500 million to the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria. Last month, they donated $287 million “to speed development of an AIDS vaccine.”
Yeah, I know all the “drop in the bucket of his fortune” and “tax deductible” stuff that goes along with anything good Gates does, but I don’t give a shit. Half a billion dollars to fight AIDS globally is just fucking cool.
