Clean-up efforts were under way Tuesday morning after a line of severe thunderstorms moved through the Chicago area Monday night, downing trees and power lines, starting fires, peeling off roofs, briefly closing down both Chicago airports and ending a Cubs game after two rain delays.I'm sure they'll all have their share of stories to tell when they get the lights back on.
About 238,000 Commonwealth Edison customers still were without power as of 7 a.m. At the storm's peak, 426,000 were affected.
