Hagel also recommended that the McCain campaign "stop the nonsense about, 'I look out my window and I see Russia and so therefore I know something about Russia.' That kind of thing is insulting to the American people."
Indeed.
Methinks Senator Hagel has calculated that McCain can't win, so he's auditioning for that cabinet position tantalizingly dangled by one Mr. Barack Obama.
