A few months ago, this concert was broadcast on Palladia, and I was watching it because Tina Turner. And during this number, I couldn't stop marveling at how her back-up dancers look like they are just having the absolute time of their fucking lives. You can just tell that they feel powerful, because they're not being treated like empty objectified bodies but as strong and amazing women, as Tina's Goddamned Crew.
Tina Turner is a woman who loves women, and I love her for it.
