I'm embarrassed to say the last book I finished was What Happened. I used to devour books relentlessly, but reading and writing all day for this job just exhausts my brain, and I find I have very little energy left for leisure reading at the end of the day. And of course it's only gotten worse over the last year and a half.
But I just received a copy of Ijeoma Oluo's So You Want to Talk About Race, and I am very excited to start it, because she is terrific.
