Honestly? That it might not be the greatest time of your life. And if everyone around you seems to be having a great time except for you, know that you're not the first person who's had the experience; you're probably not even the only person on your campus.
College doesn't suit everyone, even people who seem suited to it, and who expected to love it.
That can be a real mindfuck.
Hang in there. Or don't! Do whatever works for you. Life is going to take you to in unexpected directions that you haven't even yet begun to anticipate. College probably will not be relevant to most of them.

The above advice is directed at young people heading off to uni. For older and/or returning students, I wouldn't even know what advice to give, because I haven't had that experience and thus have no wisdom to offer! So I would simply say: Good luck! I hope it is everything you want it to be!
