After again insisting "No Collusion or Obstruction (other than I fight back)," he launched into a series of ranting tweets posted over several hours:
Russia vows to shoot down any and all missiles fired at Syria. Get ready Russia, because they will be coming, nice and new and “smart!” You shouldn’t be partners with a Gas Killing Animal who kills his people and enjoys it!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) April 11, 2018
Our relationship with Russia is worse now than it has ever been, and that includes the Cold War. There is no reason for this. Russia needs us to help with their economy, something that would be very easy to do, and we need all nations to work together. Stop the arms race?

Much of the bad blood with Russia is caused by the Fake & Corrupt Russia Investigation, headed up by the all Democrat loyalists, or people that worked for Obama. Mueller is most conflicted of all (except Rosenstein who signed FISA & Comey letter). No Collusion, so they go crazy!

There's a lot going on here, starting with the fact that his messaging appears to be totally incoherent. He starts by ostensibly "threatening" Russia, but then inexplicably claims that it's an investigation which is causing "bad blood with Russia."
It sure seems like a bigger issue than an investigation would be the U.S. president threatening: "Russia vows to shoot down any and all missiles fired at Syria. Get ready Russia, because they will be coming, nice and new and 'smart!'" Unless, of course, that was fake news, cough. https://t.co/jEjVnDM2zX

I say his messaging appears to be totally incoherent, because it isn't really, when you scrutinize what he's doing. Which is using his earlier tweets to publicly warn Russia that a response is coming.
Am I the only one interpreting Trump's tweet more as a heads-up "move your planes and military assets" disguised as a threat?

No, you're not. Bolton is a pan-warmonger; he may mean it. But Trump may be giving his backers a heads-up. https://t.co/woKOc7bjEt

Trump translation:

He is literally informing a foreign adversary about imminent military action and telling Putin to “get ready” (i.e. move assets and personnel).
Don’t be distracted by the adjectives and faux machismo. https://t.co/FnOUqYEA1y
This makes sense to me, because Trump has repeatedly insisted that he's not going to broadcast what his response will be or when it will come. And he's an inveterate liar, so. https://t.co/T1lc4LCxrB

Remember in his scary rant Monday night, he said: "We're making a decision as to what we do with respect to the horrible attack that was made near Damascus. And it will be met, and it will be met forcefully. And when, I will not say, because I don't like talking about the timing."
Because it has to be enough time for Russia to move their assets out of the way. And his "threatening" tweet was giving them the heads-up to get started on that.
Viewed through that lens, it's clear that all three tweets are still in service to his allegiance to Putin.
And indicative of his continued, breathtaking disloyalty to the United States.
