TV Corner: Brooklyn Nine-Nine
When Brooklyn Nine-Nine first premiered in 2013, I gave it a tentatively positive review. Two years later, I reported I was still watching it and still loving it.
Well, nothing has changed! Except that the show has gotten even better.
They're really knocking it out of the park this season, in every way. Each episode gives me a bunch of belly laughs, even as they introduce serious subjects like racism in policing and continue to explore serious subjects like homophobia and misogyny.
This season, one of the main female characters came out as bisexual. We saw her come out to her colleagues and to her family. She has dated both men and women on the show.
In the most recent episode, the show explored variations in the human body and how there are different kinds of strength. Which is all I can say without spoiling it!
I just continue to love this show so much, and I really hope that Fox renews it for another season, because I can't deal with losing Brooklyn Nine-Nine and One Mississippi in the same year!
