I haven't been doing too many projects lately, since I've been sick for half the month, but I did manage to get a picture hung in the spare bedroom, as the centerpiece and start to what will eventually be a collection of hung pieces.
In case you can't make it out, the framed image reads CAIM, and the text that follows is a pronunciation key followed by this definition: "Sanctuary; an invisible circle of protection, drawn around the body with the hand, to remind on of being safe and loved, even in the darkest times."
As I've mentioned before, much of the art in my home are special pieces given to me by friends, and this lovely item is no exception, having been sent to me by my dear friend known around these parts as Shaker GoldFishy. ♥
