Who was the first person, or people, for whom you cast a vote?
Setting aside student council elections, lol, I turned 18 in May of 1992, so the presidential election in November of that year was my first vote — and I was really excited about it! I voted for Bill Clinton and Al Gore, and I also voted for Senator Carol Moseley Braun, who made history in that election by becoming the first Black woman and first Black Democrat ever elected to the U.S Senate.
I honestly can't even remember who my Congressional rep was nor for whom I voted. I must not have been very enthusiastic about them, lol, because I remember everyone else for whom I've ever voted since!
